Garden Wargaming's "old" Display Room ...

GW received a very nice email from South Africa last week. It was obvious that the writer had visited the GW website many times. We were quite pleased with the many positive comments. However, this one sentence bothered us, “Your HomeTour pages have been under construction for a long time. When are you going to show some close-ups of the displays?”

Although it is true that this section has been under construction for awhile, so has most of the entire website ... ;)

Ironically, many of the “close-ups” were posted a long time ago. Admittedly, they are not easy to find ... :)

Since GW has moved its headquarters from Houston, Texas to Vancouver Island, British Columbia, and since the new displays will be totally different, and since we will not be redoing the HomeTour until next summer ... We thought that we would just go ahead and share these “old” close up photos with everyone here at GW-PC who may not have ever seen them.

We hope that you enjoyed this brief tour through a small part of GW’s former display room. Next summer we hope to be able to bring you an entirely new display with great fotos of Playmobil toy soldiers from the GW collection.

I think that the Black Watch Highlanders have almost become a GW trademark ... :lol:

Maybe that's because we used them everywhere on the GW website ... ;)

I don't think I'd seen these pics before, but then there's quite a few interesting photos "hiding" around GW, just waiting to be discovered if you click some link you hadn't tried before. 8)

Thanks, Richard. I really enjoyed seeing the displays closer-up. Awesome collection!  :D  

Looking forward to seeing your new display room when it's completed next summer. :P  We're gonna hold ya to that one now.  :wink:
