I like number one better as well.  I think it matches the color scheme I have in mind.  I need to get Son to print one out and see if I can adhere it to a wing surface........fun stuff...

Just started the primer coat, and son Knightmo printed me a
test pattern of the lozenge camo.....

It just needs a prop and some interesting WW1 paint job.
