Custom Figures.
« on: September 01, 2009, 07:56:32 AM »
My first custom was a figure, but the method I use still bothers me as horribly crude and wasteful. I start with a drill bit, a utility knife, a flathead screwdriver, and the at least two figures with parts I want to interchange. I’m sure you can see where this is going.
¿Does anyone have advice on a more sophisticated method to build figures? One that doesn’t require me to (ahem) “Kill” a figure?

Don't do this.  It is addictive and you will end up with boxes of klickies and "bits" under your bed just waiting for when you get around to doing something with them.  Your wife will stub her toes on them and shout at you.  The cat will knock over you klickies as they are on the window ledge and you will shout at the cat.  Your kids will think you're crazy.

Take up something sane and safe instead - like alligator wrestling.

Yes, I am aware. All deformed pieces go straight to the trash, because my wife was tired of waiting for me to drop them in the recycle bin.
She’s also banished me to the garage… :D
