dear OLCESE,
you have a great collection and very good customs (the Hussar with his coat draped over his shoulder especially)

wonderful diorama too!
thank you!

just one question;
Do cannoniers use those flimsy fences to protect themselves from charging enemies?  :)

dear friend, At the time of the decorations I do not have to find the corn playmobil bags that in general I do not put in front of thus it did not remain any more but the fences.  For this reason.

I did not have time to prepare the photographs, but it is necessary to be wary, because actually my small army has surroundings about thirty guns ;)  Heavy artillery, light and even one of countryside  :) :).  As soon as I can I show you that.

its suicidal to attack a SMALL army of 30 guns  ;D

....but my question was a serious one...  :P
i have seen a few great customisers here putting fences in front of their cannons, so i thought there must be a correct military set up back then  :D

did they use bales of hay? ....i suppose no army want to cart along bales of hay unless it was food supplies for their horses?(serious question/suggestion)

is it more correct to use those flat sacks (and not hay bales?) for defending a field cannon?

in reality more the share of the armies, to protect their guns put them behind ground clusters and/or barriers out of wood with sand bags.

Did you mean the bearskin ones or the other tall ones, ajr10?
The Direct Service catalogue still has the latter available in set 7675 (http://www.playmobil.de/is-bin/INTERSHOP.enfinity/eCS/Store/gb/-/GBP/PM_DisplayProductInformation-Start;sid=UuO_OkGCf22_LwUcE098tR1WIkkgR7DIlIc=?PDS=true&ProductSKU=7675&CategoryName=Ds_Figuren_uk&PLS=0). :)

hmmmm...sure takes a lady to understand a 10 yr old better  ;D
('BIG' made me conclude that he was referring to the bearskin hat....and not those worn by the artillerymen...nor that worn by the calvarymen)

nice to see the picture of the 3 red coats...its the set that started me collecting PM all over again!  :)
