-
cheng, my dear friend ;), where did u got those gret weapons from (I mean the Stg44, the MP40 and the Panzerschrecks). Very nice job there!!
-
Hello, Cheng ...
Your Afrika Korps has evolved beautifully !!! They really look great.
I think that Gordon's contribution is just what you needed ... ;)
I would also like to know the answer to the question that GaiusIulius asked, "Where did you get those great weapons?"
All the best,
Richard

Very nice Cheng! They look terrific!
And I will join the chorus: "Where did you get those great weapons?!?!"
-
hey buddies,
the one thing i didnt focus on(their weapons) seem to have caught your attention ;D
those are scaled and pre-painted accessories and figures from Dragon or something...its been so long...i've forgoten
...it was just for fun (in fact i didnt bother to use my gas-mask canisters, machinegun-clip holders, water canisters etc) ...i wont leave them with my klickies...they are too 'skinny' and not playmobil-like...too bad my focus was out, otherwise you can see the red german words on the Panzerfaust
-
Personally, I think those weapons are awesome and they look fine with Playmobil
If I could get mine hands on some WWII guns and other stuff for Playmobil that would be great...just don't know where to get WWII Playmobil stuff (but then again i haven't really investigated it)
-
Wow! I love them :) And the weapons are really cool, I´ld like to have some of them for my own customs. Aret those painted stripes over their chests? I´ll have to think something about that soon myself...
-
I think those are Dragon weapons. I have some of the mini Dragon figures. They are about Playmobil height, and similar to Lego. I might be able to send a pic. if you like.
The Afrika Korps figures are great. That era is one of my favorite.

Here are a couple pics of those Dragon figures.

Hmmm, interesting :) Where can you get these figures (or buy the guns seperately)
-
And, here's what that Dragon Models Ltd. (http://www.dragonmodelsltd.com/html/minis.html) figure looks like with a Playmobil head, hat and rifle ... ;)
(Note: Click on "Go West" in the Minis menu.) ... :)
All the best,
Richard

Dragon Models Ltd. (http://www.dragonmodelsltd.com/html/minis.html) figures are fully articulated ... ;)
(Note: Click on "Go West" in the Minis menu.) ... :)
All the best,

Thanks for the info... just what I needed for my troopers in progress ;) ;D
Does anybody knows if they´re still at sale or if there is a pack of weapons? ???

I bought mine from Legends Toys and Hobbies (http://www.legendshobbies.com/) ...
You might want to contact them to see if the Dragon Minis are still available.
Also, The Toy Federation (http://www.thetoyfederation.com) advertises that they have them now (see attachment)

My apologies, Cheng, for "threadjacking" your post. I thought that this might also be of interest to you ... :)
(I will move this, if you want me too.)
Here are some larger pictures.
(BTW, The Toy Federation (http://www.thetoyfederation.com) advertises that they only have four left of each set!)
-
Thanks Cheng and Richard for showing me such "delightful" weapons ::) I´m buying a pair of sets already ;D

...
au contraire my dear friend, Richard!
you are always the one to put icing on our cakes..(thats not an original confucious saying ;D )
i have been away a while and missed this forum...
of course i'm very interested in these Richard (i had lots of Tamiya stuff & lots of Lego but had to make a painful decision not to buy anymore since i started playmobil ;D ) .....but made no rules against looking at them :D
these foursome (Hans & his friends) are really really very well made but too expensive for me...i almost bought them at an aussie hobby shop and forced myself to put them back..they were really what i would have wanted if i never learnt how to customise PM from you guys...no regrets!
and Richard, your customs (if hope they were temporary customs and that you didnt have to shave any part with a knife!) underlines the fact that PM faces are better than Lego or Han's (OH OH...i can sense some missiles flying my way :P ) thanks for taking the trouble to show those pictures and links!

And, we missed you, my friend !!!
Welcome back, Cheng !!!
All the best,
Richard

aaah Richard,
i cant imagine what my life will be without PM (seriously!)...
and i was hoping to take sharper/closer shots of those non-PM gun but
My camera just cant take micro pictures …...its the best i can do using digital zoom(I can actually read the red and black instructions in german but I cant tell if they are correct ;D )
anyway i might as well post the picture here and a second one which i used a scanner :P both still not clear enough for you to read the instructions
..and yes, H-P-P-Y B-I-R-T-H-D-A-Y KRYSTAL!!!!! and many many more beautiful ones!
