Title: ACW UNIFORM STANDARDISATION

I have begun rebuilding my Civil war sets and at present have not intention of painting them. So I was intending to give the infantry blue collars and cuffs the artillery red collars and cuffs and the cavalry yellow. This is for both the north and south. Without going into individual regiments will this be acceptable or correct ? and I know its been listed here before but I cant find it what colour for the engineers and medical staff.
