i just put them together....are they like any regiment at all?  :oops:
...just trying to improve my photography...still bad  :P

bad photography why would u say that cheng? i think ur setting is very detailed and the uniforms are great! i too do not know if they actually resemble any regiment of the time - in total accuracy! the question is, does it matter? i think not, since they look great! well done cheng!  :D

i was tempted to spray the beige belts white but its against my own rules  :P ...it'll look even better!

anyway its not advisable to paint/spray bendable parts as you know   :wink:

these beige pouch belts are very suitable for cross belts because they are more flexible...so we can put them over the sword belts and they with sit snugly
.....alteranatively, we can use those white sword belts from the fat klickies

Hello Cheng,

    A very cool photo.  If you hunt around enough, you should be able to find enough white swordbelts and ammo pouches, so that you don`t have to break your own rules.  :wink:

 All the `Royal´regiments in the British army have blue collars and cuffs. That includes all the Guard regiments and many more besides. So the uniforms are quite accurate.

thanks David!
i did look for some time, white sword-belts yes but not white ammo pouches...i'll try again but if i still cant, will PM you  :oops:

ummm...(right person to ask)..i was wondering if the stove-pipe hats was more appropriate or the plain bicorns or the tricons with the yellow piping was a more 'correct' choice(i've looked at some websites but i get more confused after translating them from French  :shock: )

what about use a little piece of wood and paint it white and then fix it on the belt  :?

what glue(not the brand... but the chemical/type) do you use for wood+flexible plastic? ....i think it can only be epoxies and the flexible/pliable-when-cured types.  :?

I would use Pattex (I used it for fixing the fleece on my bear hats)

speaking of fleece on your bear hats..
have you posted any close up pictures of your men with bear-skin hats?
(if you dont mind...teach us how you made those nice blue sashes too  :) ...i've always wanted to ask whether the blue belt of the red-shirt leader in the DS add-ons was meant to be a belt that goes around his back as well or is it just a cloth sash pinned to his front only...do you know?)

Hello, Cheng ...

I think that Playmobil saved themselves some money. Since this figure (set #7676) comes with a cape, they probably decided to only print the blue sash on the front to save themselves the expense of also printing on the back.

Playmobil also does this with many figures that have capes or jackets. Many of the pirates with jackets only have their striped shirts printed on the front.

I think, Cheng, that we must all remember that Playmobil is a toy designed for children. And, that Geobra is a toy manufacturer that wants to make as much money as possible. We are very fortunate that our little Klickys are often as historically correct as they are ... ;)

hmmm...yes, thats another thing i've forgotten...i'll start to spray the back of those pirates when i get bored! that will keep me busy (until august?!?  :P )for a few days  :lol: and i'll show you after that, thanks!!!

yes, we would like Geobra to continue being very profitable so that they can continue to roll out beautifully planned Romans.....Egyptians(?)(!)....Greeks(!)(?).... :D

(i took some shots of my 'improved spaniards' last evening but all too dark..will try it again!)
