It is posibble add new rules to the game in order to create Martian Tripods and Black Smoke rules???

could you modify rules from the RPG Space 1889?
i thought they had tripods....i may be completely wrong as i havent played in some time...
at least for technical data...then apply to movement, etc etc..
just an idea
