Thanks for sharing your very "original" work with all of us!
Your painting is so precise. I don't know anyone who can paint a better line than you, Cheng! They are just about perfect!
All the best,
Richard

very well done cheng *speechless*

 dont know how u paint so well chang but it really is impressive!

keep it up! really great work!

hey guys...
thanks but credit goes to my masking tapes & spray cans :)
(i have always admitted that i cant paint straight lines nor get very even paint surfaces without brush lines...so i only spray..hence you see only straight lines)

Well ... You are one of the BEST spray painters that I have ever seen, Cheng!
What kind of "spray" paint do you use? Have you ever tried an 'air brush?" I'll bet that you would be a master air brush painter! In fact, you have given me some great ideas for painting my Klickys in the future! ...
All the best,
Richard

thanks Richard!
never bought an airbrush...i only use tamiya spray cans and masking tapes...i suppose any good brands will do...
as for airbrushing...its too much work cleaning and switching colors especially if youre just customising a single kliky...anyway Tamiya scale modelling took up a lot of my childhood playtime :D not complaining..but now, with growing up kids,we have less and less time...house getting older and need more DIY work :(
i would like to see some of your work...do send me some links (old and new)!
i was contempleting making a small army of your avatar...the red and white on your chest would be too easy to spray :D (at one time, i was trying to custom some crusaders or maltese knight but somehow lost interest halfway :) ...i'm not really keen in knights theme although i have about >100 at least, i think)

OK ... Cheng! You asked for it ... :)
As you wander through the GW site look for out of the way places and you'll find lots of custom Playmobil figures.
Here's a few links to some of the older "hidden" customs at GW ...

Hey Richard!
i do go to GW once in a month or so...and i exit as fast as i entered, :D
and as for those 'hidden' pictures....you hid them too well!!
1)bengali & a british yellow coat?! (can show us bigger pictures of these here? they are beautiful customs which newer members should see!)
i've always wanted those pith hats british red coats to make a zulu war...i need your molds :)
2)and your new yorker is different from the usual new yorker customs i see...good good! its definitely more correct....(your pics are quite small....show us here on a new thread? i like his shirt & gaiters!)
3)are the green men canadian?
4)FRENCH FOREIGN LEGIONAIRE?!?!?!?!?
these were my favourites during model collecting...i'll be really keen to custom some and Arabs...i can imagine their sand colored forts now....your pic is quite dark but i know their uniform well...just that your photo didnt do justice to your custom...bigger brighter pics? dont tell me you have lighting problem or lack-of-camera-skills like me? :)
5)pith hat red coats..thanks...these i've seen and revered!
and Richard, i've been wallowing, running out of ideas but the sight of your customs really makes me start dreaming of zulu wars and foreign&arabs...i have been keeping my lone camel (from the xmas set) in my spare box for this :)
i'm definitely going to GW website later and look for more hidden pics!!!

Hello, Cheng ...
The "New Yorker" is actually a Greek Evzone ...
That's the problem with small dark pictures ...
More later ...
All the best,
Richard

Cheng
What sort of spray paint do you use?
I'd like to try but I'm worried it might "attack" the plastic the klickies are made of.
-
Forget it. Now I've read the posts (rather than just look at the figures) I've seen your answer to Richard.
Spraypainting here I come!
-
good luck then Dan :D
make sure you practise both the masking skill
AND spraying techniques on some other surfaces first...its easy once you master them but horrifying if your paint 'runs' or peels!
-
Hello, Cheng ...
We have reduced your avatar for you so that it conforms more to the size of everyone else's avatar here at GW-PC.
All you have to do is copy it to your dessktop and then upload it in your profile.

Thanks, Cheng.
Also, when you have some time, would you please introduce yourself in the "Welcome" section of the forum? I think that everyone would probably enjoy knowing more about you.
All the best,
Richard

THANKS, CHENG! ... :)

Richard
