As announced earlier on the 10th of Sept. in Heroldsberg near Nuernberg there was a combined land and seabattle with Playmobil.
We played the landing of french troops in england at the beginning of the 19th century, which never actually occured.
We called it "Napoleon at Dover".
Although we´ve been only 12 players we had a lot fun.
Later we will open a page with all the details of the Game with lots of pictures. There we will tell you who won.
Technical Datas:
Area of play Land and sea each about 40 square meters (about 50 square yards)
Time of play 13 3/4 houres (until a sudden, unsuspected end)
11 freighters
3 40gun Frigatts
4 74 gun Ships of the Line
1 100 gun Ship of the Line
9 Artillery Divisions
14 Cavallery Regiments
15 Infantry Regiments
Together more than 600 Figures
Rules of Play Sea:Close Action
Rules of Play Land :Age of Battles

It must have been glorious to see a battle on such a grand scale. Thanks for sharing the photos.

But please, please, I MUST see more of the Black Prince! A Playmo warship with two gundecks! I'm dying to know more!

The whole set-up is a very impressive sight. It must be a lot of fun to have a lot of people you know all come together and do something on this scale. I'm just guessing but i'm sure you had a lot of fun doing this. I myself would like to get a better look at the double deck ship if you could post a picture. :D

If so, how do you represent hexes at that large scale? Do you have to modify the game mechanics much to use them with Playmobil? I am thinking about buying the rules for myself, but I want to know how they adapt to Playmo.

@Capitan Enrique. Thats exactly the game we play.
We measure the distances and juse a 60 ° angle to turn the ships.
