Title: Yankee army photos

I didnt know where to put hese photos because some of the figures/flags are customized and other ones are standart figures. Ok here we go: its 31 figures form the American Civil War period in 3 regiments:

1st Regiment (standart Union soldiers):

1 flag bearer
1 lower officer
1 trompet (dont know the word lol, I hope u get what I mean)
9 soldiers

2nd Regiment (some kind of New Yorker soldiers):
1 flag bearer
1 lower officer
7 soldiers

3rd Regiment (irish brigade):

1 flag bearer
1 lower officer
4 soldiers until now

+ 1 officer in command for all the regiments
I think Il get more soldiers especially for the irish brigade. Enjoy the pics:

BTW ... Many of the volunteer Zouave regiments (on both sides) were formed from local volunteer fire fighter companies.

Your Irish Brigade really looks great!

El primer regimiento de Zouave era de Argelia en 1831. Los soldados de Zouave eran del Zouaoua, una tribu de Berbers. Vivieron en las montañas de Jurjura.

very nice shots!!
i am very inspired by your NYorkers too(I'm trying to buy more kepis myself)...and that soldier wearing a pig-tail...no kidding? i guess it was possible because there are guys still wearing that even today :D (but i'll faint if he marries my daughter :D )

ps. but like you...i have lighting and focussing problems too...but its good that you dont worry about that and just show us what you can(mine are usually so dark(like your flag on the left, last pic)

Post by: GaiusIulius on September 15, 2005, 06:14:09 PM: I think the flag is that dark cuz I dont want it to shine cuz it was still a little bit wet. Ill make an other pic when the flag is really dry. For the New Yorkers I actually chose standart union soldiers (4628) and painted the kepis the figure a little bit red thats it. No big deal! I pleased to see that u like my soldiers. Perhaps Ill show u my whole army when I have time to take so much photos.
