I stripped the new special 4745 (http://www.playmobil.de/on/demandware.store/Sites-DE-Site/de_DE/Product-Show?pid=4745&cgid=Special) of everything unnecessary and replaced a few parts.
The beard was taken from 4742 (http://www.playmobil.de/on/demandware.store/Sites-DE-Site/de_DE/Product-Show?pid=4742&cgid=Special).
I can't wait for the new norman helmet to complete him. ;D

Very nice -- I like him a lot!
I would love to get my hands on both the Mongol and Conquistador specials. As you've demonstrated: there's LOTS of potential for customising!

Nice customization! He looks very authentic. The color of this surcoat is new, a sort of brownish dark red, and is very welcome.

he's very very Norman using only genuine parts....i didnt realise this is a new red color from the new mongol special...oh no....I did say I wont buy him but well, for making Normans...now, YES definitely!) ;D

I built more medievals. I use to search for non PM material and have esp. a few shields to show. Together with the new chainmail legs there will be a few more for the next time.
