yes Justin, I stopped a few times over 1 year  I think....trying to best make his hair...his vest...and his foot wear .....they fought their chinese and also japanese neighbours....both of whom I found easier to make than these Koreans but in the end...this Korean didnt seem so difficult afterall  ;) ...these wars was what made them (to the older generation) bitter enemies till even this day

Based on the pictures you supplied, your officer and soldier both look very authentic!  Well done, Cheng!

Yes, they look very Korean, but also very playmo...
Something I find can be difficult with the asian themes.

He is really great Cheng!

thanks Dan, Richard, for your encouraging words....I've been neglecting my playmos and still haven't worked on more Eastern customs.

for instance, this Korean soldier can be further improved...and of late, thinking of a new batch of japanese spearmen  ;)

hey WOT, you might have seen my present(old) ones already; https://gardenwargaming.playclicks.com/forum/index.php?topic=1314.0
(I dont know how to make a link here)
my customs are a 'bit' extreme (involve cutting, altho I still dont want to use glue or putty  :P )

...btw, spear footmen were called Yari(spear) Ashigaru(light feet)
I've seen your samurai...all made with genuine parts....he's cool! I hope to see more too!   ;)

Cool, thanks for the info Cheng! :)

I have seen your Yariashigaru before! It was love at first sight! :D
I enjoy making them 100% Playmobil,
It is a little goal of mine as I do not like the looks of *most* alien parts on Playmobil figures.

However... ;D
How did you make the hats?
I would love to make hats like that for my Samurai and Japanese soldiers.

WOW WOT! ...this is the first time I'm 'chatting' live  :D

my respect to your wanting to stay a 'purist' customiser (but once you start with a cap here and there, you'll find yourself compromising more and more which was what happened to me  :P )

I was afraid that we might be unfairly lengthening this thread & digressing from 'Korea...

I'm sure its still ok to repeat your question in my old Ashigaru thread and I'll reply in there  ;)
