A new series about another episode of European "activity" in Egypt / Sudan.
(Yes, I really found a source showing rifles in green uniform for this campaign)

Good you took up a new theme!!
This one really gives the feel of it! (like in movie: The Four Feathers)

Ralf, these look great! :) I love the different colored uniforms (I didn't realize green was utilized!) and the natives look great. This is one of my favorite periods as well.
-
Awsome customs Ralf!
Your British look awsome! :o
I hope there are more for us to see! :)
-
Thank you all for your kind words.
-

-
Amazing! I love the troops,
Great, great, Magnificent! :)
Awsome job again Ralf.
-
I wasn't sure how to solve the problem of grey-blue uniforms for the Camel Corps, so here are two different versions:
-
The upper is better for my
Great work
-
I like the lower ones... The darker blue is nice.
But I don't know what they would have looked like in period. ???
Great job, they are magnificent! :)
-
Nice customs, Ralf! I personally prefer the lighter tunics, as they are more subdued and not quite so bright, but both look good.
-
I prefer the more faded pale blue...that grey-blue as far as I'm concerned :)
beautiful! :-*
I'll not make camel corps I'll not make camel corps I'll not make camel corps I'll not make camel corps I'll not make camel corps I'll not make camel corps I'll not make camel corps I'll not make camel corps I'll not make camel corps I'll not make camel corps I'll not make camel corps I'll not make camel corps :P
p.s. can anyone identify the original klickies with the pale blue and the strong blue torsos?
-
@cheng: pale-blue - someone working for customs at the airport (after rubbing away his tie), strong blue - old police officer (probably late 1980s)
Some naval and Sudanese troops.

what?! another "Rubber-Ralf" creation! WOH!! awesome!! (now I'll be examining my policemen theme shelf with cunning smile and literally rubbing my own hands tonight ;)
Some naval WOH!!! WOH!!!!!!!! Ralf...you have beat me to making those british marines for my Peking 1900... :D you didnt modify the back of their scarf did you? :D can somebody shout 'about face!'and Sudanese troops oh, I like these :) I'm sure Henri-M will too :-*.
-
Very nice troops, Ralf! :)

To the camel corps tunic: I have read it was a light gray blue, so the former variant seems more suitable for me although the pockets of the darker ones are nicer. Another advantage of the first variant is that they do not have to wear white gloves. I am not sure if such gloves were used or not but I rather imagine them without gloves, at least bright white ones.
I like the last set especially.
@ cheng: as the Sudanese are for the later Kitchner campaign they are out of my focus
But HOW could geobra design all these great new torsos with such misplaced pockets :-P?
Thanks for building this theme

The charge is in the second half of the clip.
Wonderful ideas for figures in that movie!
I always fancied making an armoured train!
