Hello Richard :)
Thank you for welcoming me again in your Playmo Forum !!!
What can I say as I have been under the magic spell of Sylvia at Playmofriends ever since I joined in Feb 09' :-[
Well, many things have happened since then and I evolved naturally from creating simple Victorian indoors dioramas to quite elaborate Victorian Tales which I photograph and finally create a little musical video.
As many of your Members are aware of my work on Playmofriends, I will catch up on the Making Of my current Autumn diorama and the first tale called "The Autumn Harvest" which I will post in the relevant section...
Once again, I thank you very much for welcoming me again and wish you all a great week-end !!!

I have a few Victorian tales in the making and the pictures will of course be posted accordingly, but I am afraid I do not create military style diorama as my happy little Victorians and myself and peaceful individuals :)
The next tale will involve a touch of magic and darkness, but this is as far as my tales are going !!!

Unfortunately, this is a "military only" forum, Karim!
Maybe you could do a "peaceful" Victorian parade with "military" marching bands and marching soldiers with beautiful flags and colourful uniforms?

Although the name of your Site is quite self explanatory, I did not quite understood that War was the exclusive theme here.
It seems that my happy little Victorians will safely stay under the peaceful and charming patronage of Lady Sylvia but before exiting, they wish to send their greetings to all your Members :)!!!

War?
We like to think of it as an expanded chess game played in one's garden.
If anything it shows the futility and stupidity of real war.
And, our combatants continue to smile as they know that our competition is for fun!
Actually, our engagements are much more "peaceful" than any contact sport where young men trip, push, tackle and bash each other ... ;)
War?
I think not, Karim.
Adventure, derring do and fun?
Yes, that's us.
Parades, marching bands and pomp and ceremony?
Yes, that's us too.
Too bad that you've chosen to leave us, as the late Victorian period is one of my favorite historical eras.

Should I complete my Victorian Collection with Guards which I haven't got as now apart from a handful, I promise to post a few pictures here ;)
I will still try to participate in some way such as informing you on French Exhibitions on the Military Theme as I know it is also a favorite in my country...
