I have posted some pics in another forum almost 2 years ago and I have regained my passion for this period again. Inspired by the initial series of Specialist, I also wanted to express my vision of the lansquenets - a bit less colorful.
Anyway, this is a welcome distraction from all the look-alikes of the eighteenth century soldiers of my collection...
Hope you enjoy and might get some further inspirations!

Great combinations !!! Of course my favorite is your group of pikemen in the last picture !!!
Thank you very much for sharing.
BTW, your excellent customs are somewhat reminiscent of the work of GW's David Hamer.

While there's no doubting the impressiveness of a large, uniform army (ala Roman or Napoleonic armies), there's something to be said for the personality and individuality of a non-uniformed group of soldiers. Your diverse customs have great personality, authenticity, and charm.

Thanks Richard,
I really can't compete with David - I am trying to use only original parts (besides some erasing of unwanted paint). But undoubtly, he is the master...
Your favorites are actually decorating my living room shelf, I am trying to expand to roughly 150. Still have to equip them with swords and halberds.

Hello, Hauden Lukas ... (http://www.gardenwargamer.com/images/wave.gif)
I agree that David Hamer is great customizer. However, in my opinion, it takes a very special skill and exceptional talent to customize Playmobil Klickys without using paint, a knife and various clays, epoxies and other "sculpting" add-ons.
Both you, Ralf (Specialist), and a few others, seem to have that special gift. Personally, I prefer customizing that uses original Playmobil parts, so that ALL my Klickys can still be used as they were originally designed. They can sit, ride horses, hold various things in their hands, etc.
Thank you for the additional photos of my "favorites" that you created. (Do you have a name for them?)
All the best,
Richard

A 150 man army of pikemen is a most impressive goal and sight!

I know you and Don Lobo can do a much better job - no need for external support!
