Your hats are perfect, Cheng !!!
And, I love your small QING army ... (http://www.gardenwargamer.com/images/worshippy.gif) ... (http://www.gardenwargamer.com/images/worshippy.gif) ... However, your beautiful group of QING soldiers (IMHO), really need a bannerman ....
Why? Because I like flags ... ;D
All the best,
Richard

How did you make the collars?

thanks Micheal... ;) ;)
interesting question,
long long ago...when removing heads was considered dangerous :D I removed/changed these original 'closed' collars by cutting the meeting point of the collars and tug them out from behind the unsuspecting klicky (its kinder than beheading them...in the old days :P )
and when i push them back on another klicky...after the forced stretching of these collars...they stay slightly 'open'
...so they are really original PM collars
(I hope I understood your question correctly)

Yes, you did. That's dedication, but I remember a greater carefulness with the precious parts in my earlier days, too. :D

Fantastic Asian Soldier CHENG, I like it :)

Hey Cheng
Your army looks fantastic!
As for the hats, they look perfect.
MacGuyver's way of making hats is just too hard for those of us without machine tools. Your paper hats--though I should have thought of them myself--has inspired me to take another go.
BTW, I'm reading a book on the Imjin War (Japanse Invasion of Korea, 1590) that I had to special order from Korea (it is in English). Learning a lot of interesting stuff about the problems in the late Ming army.

Oh Tim...please do let's continue with our Korean history....I've stopped my Korean and will finish my first man if I can get just a little more push/pull from you :D ....mine is still around the era when they used those samurai-like swords(are they identical?) but I was quite interested making the later Koreans and Russians for their conflict...so will you crank up your Playmo-engine again? :)
