thanks everyone!!  :)
dont you think our klickies look more handsome (with a nice rounded head) compared to the real ones  ;D

(I wanted to make a completely bald warring monk but our beloved klikcky really looks really funny if completely bald AND without ears  :D )

 :o  :o  :o

But please allow one question: Do you think it is possible to cover the white band with a pm bandana? Otherwise it runs under the hair.  ;)

very good question Micheal !
it troubled me for a while....a hard white bandana would have left a gap on the frontal shaved head.....the bandana needs to be skin-tight and the hair needs to 'puff-up' where its not held down by the tight 'sweat-band'

..so i hynotised myself to see the rest of the 'sweat band' being hidden by loose hair falling over it...  ;D

...same thing with making koreans...'sweat bands' and thier high belts need to be tight while their hair or long clothes need to 'puff-up'/balloon up where they are not tightly held down...very un-playmobil thinking, i know...and these are real painful decisions  :P

i searched and just noticed this..I suppose the modeler had the same intention  ;)

That is great Cheng.  So, you can do samurai and monks so how about trying to do the 47 ronin - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Forty-seven_Ronin ?

very interesting subject Dan...will keep me customising until my retirement  ;D

...I'm still bent on customising small armies ala wargaming and still not very keen on making differnet individuals (e.g. I' would still rather make an army of Ashigaru(spearmen) than an army made up of villagers or monks)

Hi Cheng, this looks really good!  A difficult, critical detail of Japanese fashion that you made look easy.

My goodness Tim.....you've really been away too long from GW.....his hair could have grown back by now!  ;D
i stopped after making 2 of them....klickies look better half bald than completely bald (maybe because their heads are perfectly round)....I have stopped my samurai customs hoping for more suitable sleeves from GB someday or maybe even a samurai special from GB  ;)
