Another use for the fur of barbarian 4677, it is supposed to represent one water margin outlaw.

No need to be, they were given away in the last months worldwide, e.g. mine are from McD Belem/Lisboa. The above link was one of the first results of a google picture search.
I surely wish Disney/Pixar would produce a kind of Pocahontas on the NW border, so McD would provide us with a 1:16 scale topee.

And thanks for the link to the Kuniyoshi print. Kuniyoshi is currently my favorite print maker... I was in Kyoto eight years ago and bought a random print I liked from a specialist shop. It took me eight years to decipher, but I finally determined it was a Kuniyoshi print for an illustrated version of the Taiheiki Eyuden ("Chronicle of the Great Peace: The Heroes").
Thanks also for using original source material. Most people don't realize how diverse Japanese dress could be.
And the fur cloak looks great for the use you put it too.
The "coolie" hats are interesting. In addition to the sort in the print (a combination of rain and sun hat), monks wore larger versions of those that blocked most of their face and had eye holes. In the samurai "westerns" I watch, Ronin rooster the reed "coolie" hat forward to hide their identity--sort of like the Japanese samurai equivalent of sunglasses.
