Wonderful!
I read in a book about the General that the song was originally going to use another General's name (Canrobert?), but the guy who sang it (can't remember his name) thought Boulanger sounded better.
"Ma tendre épouse bat des mains
Quand défilent les saint-cyriens
Ma bell'-mèr' pouss' des cris
En r'luquant les spahis
Moi j'fiaisais qu'admirer
Notr' brav' général Boulanger"

an interesting theme, which I dont know nearly anything from. Do u have more pictures of the town Foulques?

Thanks for all; I don't know many things about Canrobert, he haven't a politic part contrary to Boulanger who were one of the populist leaders in 1880's. I don't found other pictures of the spahi.
This town were build with the houses of 6-7 playmofriends for an exhibition for "telethon" (french event for medical research) in Beaulieu (Isère departement). You can see all th pictures of the 8 dioramas in french site: "planet playmo"

a large view, most of the military customs were made by Michael (the mongols customizer)

They are really great. I would love to do something that big.
