Title: WARS OF THE ROSES
Post by: Dan on October 28, 2007, 12:11:34 PM
I haven't posted any new figures for some time (that's because I work so slowly) but here's one.

It's an officer of the Duke of York's household in about 1450.  He's in York's colours of "murray" (a sort of dark wine colour) and blue with the Yorkist white rose badge.

Hey...nice custom Dan !
i'm sure you painted (very well) his wrist protector(?)s' straps...the photograph angle/lighting doesnt allow us to appreciate that!  ;)

That was the easy bit Cheng.  Getting the belt buckle to look how I wanted it was the really hard part.  This figure got stripped down & restarted more times than any other!

Wow, wonderful medieval soldier :o. Have you use brushes or air-brush for the torso?

Brushes.  I have an airbrush but it's never been out of its box (so far)!
