the evening has fallen, and the grenadiers settle themself for the night.
Dinner is cooking and many tales are being told, with no "last glass of wine" in sight... A tired sapper comes to join his mates:

I agree!
Great little scene, TT!

my respects Tanotrooper!
superb little set up!
i like your sapper too...i must make a few one day! ;D
i couldnt find the barbecue dad you spoke of (5326 nor 3230) which is now making me even more curious :D (top half or bottom half?)
another easy custom for the whole apron would be the green apron from the garderner special if you are not against spraying White(and splashes of red :P )

;D i had put this part away with disgust the moment i had opened the box. Alone the writing would have prevented me to take this part into consideration forever while the rest of the set is fine.
Great idea, thank you.

I'm glad you like the sappeur.
Cheng, the special is number 4649, wich is still in stores I think. I also used the food from that special in this scene.
edit: maj.com has fallen out again... I'll find a new hosting site as soon as possible.

From the frying pan, there's nothing wrong with the rations that day!
I love the muskets with the bearskin on them - looks just "right".
I may have to get the barbecue set just for the apron to make a British Pioneer (sapper).
